About the California Forestry Association

Calforests is committed to ensuring California has an adequate and sustainable
supply of affordable forest products, while maintaining and enhancing wildlife habitat, waterresources, air quality and rural economies.

Objectives

  • Promote Sustainable Forest Management: Support forest management practices that balance ecological health, uplift rural economies, and provide recreational opportunities.

  • Advocate for the Industry: Represent the interests of the forest products sector to lawmakers and regulatory agencies to ensure policies that promote the growth of the industry.

  • Education and Outreach: Provide resources and information to the public about the importance of sustainable forestry practices and the value of the forest products sector.
