The Fairhaven Power Plant, owned by DG Energy Solutions, LLC, is a biomass red steam turbine electrical generating plant located on the Samoa Peninsula, California. The plant has been operating since 1986.Fuel for the plant is biomass hog fuel in a variety of forms- sawdust, wood chips, wood bark, wood shavings, and rejected pulp. DG Energy is dedicated to the energy industry. We look at trends both domestically and internationally to identify opportunities specifically for consumers.
